Jewellery Care Guide

Polymer clay is tough and lightweight, but treat your pieces with a little love!

Keep it dry: Take off your pieces before showering, swimming or sweating it out. Water can tarnish metal bits and weaken glue.

Spritz first, shine second: Apply perfume, lotion, hairspray and makeup before popping your jewellery on to avoid chemical discolouration.

Treat with care: Clay is durable and slightly flexible, but dropping pieces on hard tiles, bending them or sleeping in them can cause snaps.

Store safely: Tuck your gems away in a cool, dry jewellery box or pouch so other metals won't scratch them.

Ditch the sun: High heat and direct sunlight can warp clay or fade pretty painted details (so no leaving them on scorching window sills!).
